About
The Dubrovnik beach with the view: pebble and sand below the church of St Jacob, looking straight back at the Old Town walls and Lokrum, and famous for its sunsets. Around 160 steps separate the road from the beach, which filters the cruise-day crowds and keeps it a favourite of locals. Summer facilities are proper — restaurant, beach bar, sunbeds, kayak and jet-ski rental, volleyball — and buses 5 and 8 or a 20-minute walk from Ploče gate get you there.
