Short version: no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no consent banner to click away. Below is exactly what gets stored on your device, and why.

What is stored

sb-wmfvbepgqjfiqlmjpzjz-auth-tokenEssentiallocalStorage

Sign-in session for business owners, written by the Supabase client only after you log in and cleared when you log out. Browsing never creates it.

hc-themePreferencelocalStorage

Remembers whether you chose light or dark. Never leaves your browser.

hcRecentCitiesPreferencelocalStorage

The last few locations you picked, so the location picker can offer them again.

hc_recent_searchesPreferencelocalStorage

Your last few search terms, offered back as suggestions in the search box.

listingScrollYFunctionalsessionStorage

Where you were on a results page when you opened a listing, so going back returns you to the same spot. Cleared when you close the tab.

plausible_ignoreInternallocalStorage

Not set by this site. We set it by hand on our own devices so our visits are excluded from analytics; you can set it yourself to opt out of being counted.

Analytics without cookies

We use Plausible, which sets no cookies and creates no persistent identifier. It counts a page view together with the URL, referrer, browser, operating system, device type and country. Nothing in that can be traced back to you — which is why there is no banner asking your permission.

What we do not use

No Google Analytics. No advertising or remarketing pixels. No social media trackers, no cross-site profiling, no fingerprinting, and no data sold or passed to data brokers. We have no advertising network to feed.

How to control it

Preference values live in your browser and disappear when you clear site data — in Chrome, Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data. Clearing the session token signs you out; clearing preferences resets the theme and your recent locations. Nothing else breaks.

If this ever changes

Anything that tracks you across sites would need your consent, and we would ask for it properly rather than bury it in a banner. If that day comes, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
