About
Not one beach but thirty kilometres of protected coastline: the Kamenjak peninsula below Premantura is a significant-landscape reserve managed by a public institution, its nine-kilometre spine fringed with rocky slabs, pebble coves and a few sandy pockets — Njive, Pinižule, Kolombarica and Portić among the best known. Over 600 plant species grow here, including some thirty orchids, and dinosaur footprints mark the Pinižule shore. Parts of the Premantura coast are established naturist territory. Car entry is ticketed; bikes and walkers roam free.
