About
A salt lake inside Telašćica Nature Park on Dugi otok, about 900 metres long and up to 6 metres deep, warmer than the sea in summer and colder in winter. The park records mud on the bottom of the deeper parts. Entry to the park is charged, swimming is allowed only at marked spots, and removing sand, stone or clay is prohibited by regulation and patrolled by rangers.

Season
Park open all year. Entry point 08:00–18:00 in shoulder season (1 April – 15 June, 1 September – 1 November), extended hours 15 June – 16 August. Infrastructure works on the Jaz–Grpašćak route since 6 July 2026.
Evidence
The park itself records the dimensions, the above-average salinity and the mud on the bottom. No peer-reviewed study of the mud.
Protection
Nature park. Article 65 of NN 8/2022 prohibits removing sand, gravel, stone, humus or clay, and rangers patrol. Swimming only at marked spots.
