About

Brela's signature beach and a Makarska Riviera icon: 250 metres of fine white pebble under Aleppo pines that grow straight out of the rock, protected as a natural area since 1964. At the western end stands Kamen Brela, the tiny pine-topped sea rock that appears on half the postcards of Dalmatia; Forbes ranked the beach among the world's ten most beautiful back in 2004. The entry is long and gentle — 15–20 metres to chest depth — which families love, and the main car park fills by 9 a.m. in peak season.
