A tiny islet off Vela Luka whose shores are smooth white stone slabs sloping into deep turquoise — the famous 'Bili boci'. Named beach of the year on the Croatian Adriatic in 2007 and written up by the New York Times and Daily Telegraph, it remains blissfully simple: pine-shaded footpaths link the coves, one restaurant works by the jetty, and that is all. Taxi boats run from Vela Luka in about half an hour; the smallest cove, Donji Bili bok, is the area's established naturist spot.
