ACI Marinas
Twenty-two marinas along the whole Croatian coast, run by one company set up in 1983 to earn hard currency rather than to serve tourists. Eighteen work year round, four are seasonal — together the spine that makes this coast sailable in day hops.
marinas from Umag to Dubrovnik — 18 open all year, four seasonal, about 6,000 berths in all. Figures from ACI’s Q1 2026 report to the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Each marina carries its own sources.

Sixteen marinas in under three years
ACI was founded in 1983 as Adriatic Club Yugoslavia, and the first three marinas opened within 120 days. How that network was built, and where the system stands now, is the subject of our editorial.
